People are always
asking us “what’s up with the lady bug?” The genesis of
the lady bug came from the file names when we were
making the CD-ROM for the 1st edition. We noticed the
file names were abbreviated “BUG____” from the name
Baldrige
User’s
Guide
and so we decided to look for a bug to represent the
guide. We considered several bugs but most of them were
not very pretty - to us at least. We finally settled on
the one with an overall positive image - thus the
lady bug.
